Run by the three people who restored it

Your wedding party never has to leave the building.

Wenceslas Broz commissioned this building in 1898 and hired a young architect named Cass Gilbert to design it. Gilbert went on to the Minnesota State Capitol, the Woolworth Building, and the United States Supreme Court. He started here, on Main Street in New Prague. For more than a century the building hosted travelers, gatherings, and the first weddings in this part of the state.

We reopened in 2025 after years of restoration. The tin ceilings, the crystal chandeliers, the staircase, the hardwood are exactly as they were. The wedding dress from the first ceremony held here in the 1890s still hangs in the foyer. We left it there on purpose.

One property. Ceremony, reception, late-night dancing, and eight rooms upstairs. Nobody drives anywhere.

Two ways to book

Book the Saturday, or book the whole weekend.

A single-day rental gives you a 14-hour event window across every space in the building, with set-up access from 10 am. Peak season runs April through November, with Saturdays at $7,000 and Sundays at $5,000. December through March drops to $5,000 and $3,000.

The full weekend package starts at $11,900 and takes over the entire building from rehearsal Friday to brunch Sunday, including all eight hotel rooms, your ceremony, and rehearsal dinner space.

Thursday and Sunday dates carry lower rental rates and no beverage minimum, and most other vendors price those days lower too.

The full guide breaks down every rate, every add-on, and everything included.
